Hi, Lovelies. I hope you are staying sane and healthy in this crazy time. If you’re reading this at a later date, I am writing this during quarantine/self-isolation. It feels strange being home multiple days in a row. I think I have been home more these past few weeks than in the past year. I am used to being go, go, go between yoga, work and meeting with clients. I vaguely remember thinking about the things I would do if I had more time, but I seemed to forget what those were for the past few weeks. Watching Netflix every night gets old (even if it is Tiger King). I sat down one day and made a list of all the things I wanted to accomplish.

I have been wanting to start a new site to blog on for a while since my other website is primarily being used for business. I decided now was the perfect time. If there’s something to you have been wanting to start and you have the means to do now is the perfect time.

On top of this blog, I also run my own Marketing Company and do marketing for a Hemp Company Full time. In my “everyday” life I am super busy. So it’s been nice to have extra time to focus on what I could be doing differently. I’m working on marketing plans for both my own company and the company I work for. I am also doing a current SWOT and Competitive Analysis. Is there something at work that you have been meaning to do at work but have not had time? Now is the time.

Yoga is one of the few things that has been keeping me sane. I look forward to my practice every day. My yoga studio has started having virtual classes which is a bonus. I get to see the community of people that I love so much! But even on days when there isn’t a class or I can’t attend class that day, I find a yoga video on Youtube and follow along. Times are stressful and self-care is hella important. As I mentioned before yoga is a huge part of mine, but I also love spending time outside (when it’s not snowing here in Michigan). Everyone’s self-care journey is different and even every day is different. Some days you need to work out and others what you need is comfort food and trashy TV and that’s okay.

Or Kindle. All bookworms have done it. You got to the bookstore and buy a book or two fully intending to read it and then life gets busy and by the time it slows down you find another book you want to read. I mean I can’t be the only one. This is the perfect time to finally read or finish that book (bonus point if it’s in a bubble bath).
