My Favorite Vegan Snacks for Your Next Road Trip

Road trip time is upon us. Few things make me feel happier than getting in the car and going down the open road. Whether I’m in the driver’s or the passenger seat, I love going to a place I’ve never been before. Driving with the windows down and my music blasting is the perfect way to spend a summer day, but road tripping can be a little more difficult when you’re vegan and driving through the boonies. Pack these vegan snacks for your next road trip.

Koia Protein Drinks

Koia Protein drinks is an essential vegan snack for your next road trip.

I recently discovered these and I love them. I love the Cold Brew Coffee flavor because it reminds me of a similar product that I got when I was a vegetarian. Not only do the Koia Protein drinks have 18 grams of protein, but they only have 4 grams of sugar. These will help you stay full and energized on the go.

Kite Hill French Onion Dip

Kite Hill makes such good vegan dips. The French onion dip is really unique and reminiscent of classic chip/veggie dips. It’s delicious and decadent, but surprisingly not bad for you. At only 30 calories and with 2 grams of fat, it’s actually a pretty healthy choice. I love to eat it with sweet peppers, but also crackers or Jalapeño Flavored Kettle Chips. Just make sure you bring a cooler with you to keep your dip from spoiling.

Boom Chica Pop

Boom Chicka Pop is an essential vegan snack

Boom Chica Pop is one of my favorites. With so many different flavors there’s an option for every craving. If you want something salty, just get the original sea salt flavor. Want something sweet and salty? Get the Salted Maple or the Sweet and Salty Kettle Flavor. Sometimes I like to get different flavors and mix them together. Not all flavors are vegan so just read the ingredients.

Lara Bars

Lara Bars are an essential vegan snack

Lara Bars are so good! This classic vegan snack has as few ingredients as possible. They have a ton of different flavors to try and they’re all vegan. These bars are so filling and always keep me satisfied until my next meal. Pack them the next time you’re going to be having a long time between stops to keep you satisfied between meals.

From The Ground Up Cauliflower Crackers in Cheddar

These are supposed to be like cheez-itz. They don’t really taste similar but they’re good just the same. They have an almost smokey taste. I really love them with Kite Hill’s French Onion dip
