My Favorite Summer Fragrances
Want to change your signature scent this summer? The warmer season is the perfect time to try new and fresh scents. These four summer fragrances will have you feeling like a goddess whether you are at the beach, at a backyard BBQ, or at the office. These are fragrances that I always get compliments on.
Cloud By Ariana Grande
This is one of my go-to fragrances. I recently discovered this one and I’m obsessed with it. I’m typically skeptical of celebrity fragrances so I didn’t pay much attention to the hype around this one. I got a sample of this one in the mail from Ulta and went out and bought t later that week. It smells so clean. I always get compliments when I wear it. With notes of Lavender Blossom, Bergamont, and Juicy Pear, this fragrance is sophisticated and yet feminine.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh
This is my other go-to perfume. It differs from the original Marc Jacobs scent in that its top notes are Green Notes, Raspberry, and Pear. This scent is more fresh and powdery than the original Marc Jacobs perfume. It’s considered less offensive than most perfumes so you don’t have to worry about your cubicle neighbor complaining that your perfume gives them a headache. I like to combine this perfume with Ariana Grande’s Cloud.
Marc Jacobs Daisy
I’ve been obsessed with this fragrance since it came out in 2007. I remember begging my mom for it after seeing the ads in Teen Vogue (R.I.P. print Teen Vogue). Since we did not have a Teen Vogue budget growing up, I was unable to get my hands on it until I was in my 20s. This perfume is heavenly with top notes of violet leaves, blood orange, and strawberries. I think of this one as Eau So Fresh’s little sister. It’s a bit of a younger scent.
Sol de Janerio Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist
This fragrance just screams summer. You will smell like a day at the beach with this one. It has top notes of pistachio and almond and dry notes of caramel and vanilla. This is the scent that is in their Brazilian Bum Bum Cream so you know it smells incredible. This is the scent I spritz on if I’m going to the beach or after I got a fresh self-tan.
