My Nighttime Skincare Routine that will Give You Beautiful Skin Without Breaking the Bank

In a recent post, I discuss my tips on getting the best sleep ever. One of the less common things that I credit with my getting my best sleep is my night-time skincare routine. My skincare routine has really evolved over the years. I used to have more money to spend on night creams and serums. But now I am no longer living with my parents. My skincare routine is much cheaper, and my skin has NEVER looked better. All in all, the price doesn’t matter. So here is my affordable skincare routine that will give you gorgeous skin.

Take Off My Makeup with Saie Reusable Beauty Rounds

Night Time Skin Care Routine Saie Beauty Rounds

If I wore makeup that day, I start by wetting a Beauty Round to remove my makeup. These are gentle enough to take off mascara which I wear daily. I rarely wear a full-face these days, but they can handle that too. I’ve also used the Makeup Eraser. I like to use these because they are better for the environment compared to traditional makeup wipes.

Wash My Face With Acure Brightening Cleansing Gel

ACURE Brightening Cleaning Gel For Night Time Skin Care Routine

I start my nighttime routine by washing my face with Acure’s Brightening Cleansing Gel. I really enjoy using this product. It’s light and soothing. I just wet my face and use it like you would any other facial watch. I have dull skin sometimes so I’m up for anything that will give me brighter skin.

Double Cleanse with Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar

Double Cleanse with Erno Laszlo Mud Deep Cleansing Bar for Night time Skin Care Routine

Okay, this one is a little more expensive. I got it in my Fab Fit Fun Box and I really love it. I just recently starting double cleaning, and let me tell you it makes a huge difference. My face feels exceptionally clean. Initially, I was very concerned about drying out my skin, but this bar is actually super moisturizing. I highly suggest adding this to your skincare routine.

Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel with Lavender

Thayer's wi

In the past, I would use toners that were harsh and mostly alcohol. Finally, I realized that those toners were doing more harm than good. Eventually, I switched to Thayer’s Witch Hazel which is much cheaper anyways than the expensive toner I was using. I love that this product is as effective as it is gentle. This product also has the benefit of treating any pimples you may already have. You can get this in a variety of scents, but I really like the Lavender One because it helps me to relax at night. Use this as you would any toner.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% +HA

Night time Skin care routine

Originally I purchased this because I had a milia spot I was trying to get rid of. Well, it did what I wanted it to, and more. I am not lying to you when I say that this product will change your life. No other product has changed my skin as much as this one has. The Ordinary Lactic Acid exfoliates your skin without irritating it. If you add any of these products into your nighttime skincare routine make sure it’s this one. I put two drops on my forehead and one on each cheek.

Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule

Earth Harbor for Night time Skin care routine

This Serum is another product I got in my FabFitFun box (sensing a pattern here?). I really love this product because it adds an extra layer of moisture to my skin. It also smells amazing and is very relaxing. This serum helps brighten my skin, and I use it morning and night.

Clinique Moisture Surge

Use Clinique Moisture Surge for Night and Day time Skin Care

My holy grail moisturizer. I have tried many others, but I always go back to this one. This moisturizer so light and not at all greasy. Other brands sometimes leave a build-up on my skin, but I don’t get that with Clinique Moisture Surge. It will leave your skin glowing and satisfied. This may seem like a lot of hydration, but hydration is key to having glowing skin.

Spray With Rose Water

Spray your face with Rose Water of any brand.

Next on my nighttime skincare routine is Rose Water. I’m not loyal to a certain brand. I am using Grace and Stella (lol it came in a FabFitFun Box), but I have used the cheap brand you buy at Ulta or Health Stores too. They all work the same. I haven’t found one to be more beneficial than the other. Rose Water helps balance your skin’s natural oils and helps prevent fine lines. Also, it smells like Roses so it’s just a win-win.

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

Finish Your Bedtime Skin Care Routine with LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

Don’t forget to care for your lips. My lips get super dry during the colder months. The LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask saves my lips. I put it on every night before I go to sleep, and it has made such a difference. On the rare night that I forget, I can tell the next morning. This lip mask is available in a number of flavors, but I like the original best.
